Man Up Film is the production label of Dutch actresses Carice van Houten and Halina Reijn. Annoyed by the masculine film industry, they decided to start their own label. The name Man Up refers to standing your ground. Dare to look the monster in the eyes, while you also dare to be vulnerable.

The illustration of the girl was created by Sheena Liam at the application of Carice. Liam is an artist who embroiders self-portraits and uses these to create stop motion films. These can be seen on Instagram @sheenaliam

Planet X Title Design used the stop motion animation to create an ident and logo. The girl is fragile and alone in the big world. At the same time, you cannot ignore her. Man Up Film is here to stay!
