VFX Editor/Data Manager
We're hiring for a vfx editor/data manager, on site, start asap, to join our creative VFX team at our Amsterdam-based studio.
The VFX Editor/Data Manager is a key member of the Planet X production team, responsible for day-to-day data management across projects. As a VFX Editor/Data Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are set up and ingested correctly in our pipeline, ensuring client technical specifications are fully adhered to and shots and assets are correctly prepped for our VFX artists to work on. You will work closely with colleagues in production to ensure deliveries are prepped and sent on time and meet the highest quality standards. Your role will involve managing complex data, tech-checking shots, editing reels, tracking technical changes to shots, and communicating effectively both internally and externally to ensure the smooth running of assigned shows. internships — general information
We take on internships for periods of 4 - 6 months. Spots are available in our 2D and 3D/VP department every first half of the year (January/February - June: decisions on applications will be made in November) and second half of the year (September - January/February: decisions on applications will be made in June). Please reach out to us if your school requires a decision outside of these dates. Students must have a general understanding of film and VFX processes with a passion for working in the industry. Our preference is for students who attend school and reside in the Netherlands and are able to work daily from our Amsterdam-based studio.
