'Soldier of Orange - the Musical' (‘Soldaat van Oranje – de Musical’) is based on the true story of one of the greatest war resistance heros in our national history: Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema. At the beginning of the war Erik escapes to England from where he smuggles transmitting equipment to the Netherlands, and as a pilot he is involved in bombings on Germany. He becomes an aide-de-camp to Queen Wilhelmina and for his resistance work is knighted in the Military William Order, the highest royal honour.

Planet X FX created the gigantic projections for four different scenes in the show, including the bombings of Rotterdam and Berlin. The images on the front screen and back screen, 6K and 4 K, respectively, were projected by a total of 10 HD beamers.
