A young boy, Dolfje, turns into a small white werewolf on his 7th birthday. Supported by his bigger brother and chased by a mysterious organisation he has to find out how to live a normal life. Based on the books by Paul van Loon.

During the editing of 'Dolfje Weerwolfje' the main character Dolf was found to need more facial expression in the scenes in which he was a werewolf. Certain subtleties in his expression were insufficiently visible. That is why Planet X FX, together with director Joram Lürsen and editor Peter Alderliesten, chose more than 130 shots in which they enhanced the emotions on Dolfje's face, so that specific moments in the film would be more meaningful.

The trailer from 'Dolfje Weerwolfje'

On the night of his seventh birthday, the mild-mannered Dolf turns into a white, fuzzy werewolf. "What is going on?" he wonders. Dolf is confused and feels conflicted: he tries to cope with his new powers. They make him completely different at night, when he turns into a werewolf and loses his inhibitions, than during the day, when he is a shy schoolboy. Will he be able to accept his new identity?
