In 'Gooische Vrouwen 2' girlfriends Cheryl, Anouk, Claire and Laurien are again faced with heartache, family problems, and death. Viewers are even treated to a small glimpse into the future.

With two million visitors 'Gooische Vrouwen 2' is one of the most successful films in Dutch cinema ever.

For the scenes that take place in the future, Planet X FX took care of various elements such as holograms, digital documents, and integrated TV screens. The elements had to fit seamlessly into this new reality, without having the feel of being overly futuristic.

Planet X FX was also responsible for the effects in the scene in which character Roelien flies a hang glider in the Austrian mountains. The shots were filmed against a bluescreen and combined with material filmed in Austria in post-production.
